It is with profound sadness that we bid farewell to James, an adventurous spirit who has left us. Let us remember the time when he and his wife resided in Glacier and the joy they brought to those around them. Who could forget the day his father arrived with a brand new 1949 Chevrolet? Those were simpler times, for a great family indeed. Though long passed, these memories remain undimmed by age. Rest in peace Jim, you will always be remembered fondly. -Ron Nelson

My Father, Jim Nunamaker, was and is the most kind and loving man I've ever known. As I sat grave side infront of his coffin, the words spoken by family and friends echoed inside me as I felt overwhelmed and empty. I started to notice this physical sensation of an energy coming down over me. I suddenly remembered this sensation from my childhood! It was my dad playing a game we called Timber! Tim and I would lay down in bed, side by side next to him looking up as he raised his arm high like a giant tree, yelling TIMBERRR. We would squeal with excitement in anticipation as his heavy arm came crashing down over us and our little hands stretched upwards to catch the giant tree. We struggled pushing the tree back up to position as he used his strength as resistance. When we succeeded and the tree was back upright, we'd cry "do it again, do it again!" And he would. That was the exact sensation that I felt back then and again sitting there at his burial. He is my Tree and will always be there. Cheri Nunamaker
