At Wildflower Funeral Concepts, we believe that commemorating a loved one’s legacy goes hand in hand with caring for the world they treasured. Our dedication to sustainability is not just a practice—it’s a heartfelt philosophy. By offering eco-friendly services like terramation, aquamation, and green burial, we provide pathways that allow your loved one’s journey to continue harmoniously with the environment they held dear.

These innovative options reflect a profound respect for nature and a commitment to preserving it for future generations. Each sustainable tradition we embrace is a step towards nurturing not only individual legacies but also the health and vitality of our planet. We are humbled to offer ways to say goodbye that respect your loved one’s values while contributing positively to the world around us.

Marcy Probts

Marcy Probst

Financial Controller

Marcy, a farm girl at heart, considers herself lucky to have spent her whole life in Whatcom County. She has deep roots here and loves serving her community as a board treasurer for various nonprofits. For the last ten years it has been her privilege to serve in funeral care as well. After earning her accounting degree from Western Washington University, Marcy went to work as an accounting manager in health insurance. Marcy is so glad to work at Wildflower, combining her accounting skills with a passion for helping folks on their hardest days. To fill her cup, Marcy throws herself into caring for animals and tending a small farm. And music… Music lifts her spirit, from singing with musical groups, attending concerts, and challenging herself by learning new songs in a variety of languages. And of course, quality time with her husband and young adult children keeps her anchored.
